In 2001 the journey started with a 6,700 mile bicycle ride across the United States to raise awareness to for Autism. The motivation for the ride was Robby Oberleitner, Ron and Sharon Oberleitner son, who was diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) in 1996. Since then, Ron and Sharon have dedicated their careers to helping families and organizations improve their accessibility to mental health treatment. They formed Behavior Imaging Solutions to revolutionize mental health treatment, research, training, and administration through the use of Behavior Imaging technology.
What We Do
Behavior Imaging Solutions provides healthcare professionals with technology that improves efficiency and accuracy in the treatment of behavioral conditions. Our online portal, Behavior Connect, enables remote interaction with patients, specialists and staff members, and builds a library of relevant documentation that is easily and securely accessed and shared.

Design, develop and maintain new and existing software products and systems to monitor, configure, and extend usage of Behavior Imaging’s technology platform.

Role / Responsibilities
- Primarily produce PHP code/script for given tasks, under the guidance of senior person.
- Participate in all aspects of the Software Development Lifecycle; including requirements investigation, specification development, engineering documentation, functional review, code development, functional reviews, test, training and support.
- Support software during beta, training and provide 3rd level support as required
- Partake in the enhancement of overall software engineering team
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
- 2+ years of software development experience.
- Ability to work in a small, self-starting company environment
- Strong communication and project management skills
- Ability to work in a highly collaborative environment and deal with ambiguity.
- Demonstrated ability to work well with others including coworkers, management and clients.
- Maintain strong organization skills
- Demonstrated ability to research and consider new technologies, develop practical strategies, and successfully implement into system
- Experience of PHP, MySQL, and Linux-based PHP (Zend Framework)
- Familiarity with HTML, scripting languages and web development
- Experience in OO Programming
- Experience and ability to design and/or critique user-interfaces
- Experience with Agile development (Scrum)
- Experience with online video, smart-phone apps a plus
